ORGANISERS of the Alcester Big Breakfast are hailing it as a great success after raising £1,750 for good causes.
Recently, Alcester Alauna Rotary held the second of their twice yearly 'Big Breakfast' events where more than 250 cooked breakfast were prepared and served at the town hall.
President of Alcester Alauna Rotary John Crawford said: 'This has become a very popular event in the town, with people attending from as far away as Worcester.
"We would not be able to raise as much money without the generous support of the local businesses and residents of the town."
The money will be donated to dementia respite in Alcester, through the Alcester Cafe and the Stratford Cancer and Eye Hospital Appeal.
