A HORSE trapped in a horse box on the A422 in Arrow, near Alcester, was rescued by fire crews on Saturday, August 6.
A Warwickshire Fire and Rescue crew from Alcester and an appliance from the Rugby Large Animal Rescue Unit attended the scene, just before 9am on Saturday, August 6.
Crews confirmed that one horse was stuck across a partition in horse box and a vet was contacted to sedate the horse so that it could be rescued.
Crews used small gear to release the animal uninjured.
Speaking on Facebook, A spokesman for Warwickshire Horse Watch, said: "A fantastic result - we are so lucky to have this team in our county."
