THIS Saturday will see the sixth annual Coughton Village Summer Fete in the grounds of National Trust property Coughton Court
The fete is raising money for local causes and visitors will be invited to try out a host of traditional games and activities, including tug of war.
There will also be a collection of stalls selling local produce from gifts and crafts to guessing games.
Event organiser Claire Hancox said: "It’s fantastic to have such a great relationship with the Coughton community and to be able to host the annual village fete for the sixth year. So far a fantastic £4492 has been raised and put towards projects at Coughton Primary School, Sambourne Cemetery and the ford area. As well as being a great cause, it’s an opportunity for us all to get together and share a fun day out and this year we look forward to challenging you to a traditional game of tug of war."
The village fete, which is organised by Coughton Court and the local community, is taking place on Saturday, July 9 from noon to 4pm.
Entrance to the fete and gardens is free.
