YOUNGSTERS at Dunnington CE Primary School near Alcester stepped back in time to Roman Britain when they visited the Corinium Museum in Cirencester recently.

Pupils in Years 3 and 4 explored the museum where they discovered many fascinating facts about the daily lives of the Romans.

Teacher Lawrence Wild said: "The pupils were led through activities by museum staff where they explored many aspects of Roman life from what the Romans wore, through to the games that they played.

"It really is wonderful for the children to see how the Romans built and developed the first towns in our country."
