BARMY Alcester residents raised £346 by taking part in the sixth annual charity pram race.
Eight teams completed the course on Sunday, May 29, which saw competitors darting around the streets and pubs of Alcester with their prams for two local causes St Nicholas' Church Restoration Fund and The Breakaway Foundation.
The High Bailiff Tim Forman and Town Crier David Parks announced the start of the race and set entrants on the three mile course.
Vicious Delicious were crowned winners of the 2016 Alcester Pram Race, despite having to return to a missed checkpoint on the route.

Event organiser Marc Venables said:"I was really pleased how the event went everyone was good natured and really enjoyed themselves.
"I only set it up but the hard work was the prammers all the way and I can't thank them and the sponsors, supporters and helpers enough.
"Another great event in Alcester's calender."
