THOUSANDS of motoring enthusiasts are expected to flock to Ragley for the Classic Car and Transport Show.

Next bank holiday weekend, visitors will be able to admire more than 600 vintage and classic cars, including American, kit, custom made and motorcycles.

During the two day event, on May 29 and 30, there will be a new live commentary arena with motors from the last 70 years and professional singer Jayne Darling will be performing a collection of vintage classics.

A number of groups will be in attendance including the Metropolitan Owners Club and Austin 10 Driver Club and the Lotus Drivers Club, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a special display on Sunday.

House manager at Ragley said:"We are delighted to host the classic car show over the May bank holiday weekend and to be working with a new organiser for this popular show. With something for everyone, the show is a great day out for all the family and not just motor enthusiasts."

The event is taking place between 10am and 4pm each day.

Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for children, £25 for a family (two adults and two children), under 4s and Ragley members go free.
