An 'outstanding' Alcester nursery continues to thrive, according to inspectors.

Alcester Nursery Studio, in St Faiths Road, has been judged as 'outstanding' for all of the 28 years it has been run by Debi French.

Overall the school maintained the highest possible rating for the effectiveness of leadership and management, quality of teaching, learning and assessment, person development, behaviour, welfare and in the nursery's outcomes for children.

Mrs French said: "I am absolutely delighted for the nursery to achieve outstanding again, as since September 2015 the criteria changed, making it extremely difficult to obtain this grade.
