A MISSING pedigree cat returned to her home in Greville Road, Alcester, after spending a weekend hiding under planks of wood in a nearby garden.

Kevona Jade Xaviera, known as Xavvi, an 11 year old a silver grey long haired pedigree Tiffanie cat, had been missing since Good Friday.

Her owner Sue Moss said: "Xavvi has now returned home on Friday after spending a week under planks of wood in a neighbour's garden, just 100 yards from our house."

"The man knocked our door to say at 5pm -he had found her - and after a 30 mins coax from under shelter of their garden table, we finally were reunited.

"The vets have checked her over and other than being incredibly dehydrated and lost two pounds in weight, she has no injuries or trauma.

"She is now with me upstairs in her normal place having consumed food in bowls full.

"Thank you to everyone who has been such a support over the last week."

Xavvi returned home on her 12th birthday.
