RESIDENTS in Redditch and Alcester are being urged to donate unwanted jigsaws to Coughton Court’s annual Jigsaw Festival.

The spring festival, which is now in its third year, will return between Wednesday, April 20 to Sunday, April 24.

Last year, more than 2,000 jigsaws were donated by Coughton Court staff, volunteers and the public, and organisers aim to beat this figure.

Marketing and events officer Abi Cole said: "The popularity of the festival and the generosity of the public over the past two years that we have hosted the Jigsaw Festival has been overwhelming.

"Last year hundreds of puzzles were kindly donated by visitors from Redditch, Studley, Alcester and further afield and an astonishing £5,000 was raised for the conservation of this beautiful property.

"If you have any jigsaws pushed to the back of your cupboards or taking up space under beds at home we’d love to take them off your hands."

Festival-goers will be able to purhase a wide variety of jigsaw puzzles and entrance to the festival, which takes place between 11am and 5pm, is included in the admission to Coughton Court.
