NEXT weekend visitors to Coughton Court will be able to take part in an Easter egg hunt through the grounds of the National Trust property.

The trail is taking place from Saturday, March 26 to Monday, March 28, between 11am and 4pm, and families can follow the petals around the Bluebell Wood to hunt down a secret stash of chocolate.

Marketing and events officer Abi Cole said: "Easter is always good fun for the team here at Coughton and we have a really exciting trail planned for families this year.

"This is the perfect opportunity to get the whole family out and about in the great outdoors and there is of course a delicious Cadbury chocolate treat waiting at the end of the trail.

"Over the past few years we’ve had everything from glorious sunshine over the Easter weekend to heavy snow; this year we’ve got our fingers crossed for more sunshine."

Coughton Court will also be hosting a series of outdoor games and crafts over the Easter weekend.
