RAGLEY is hosting a coffee morning as part of The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Macmillan’s fundraising event for people facing cancer.

Visitors to the stately home will be able to visit for free and asked to donate to the charity instead on Friday 25 September from 10am to 1pm.

There will be a range of delicious cakes plus coffee and tea and depending on the weather, visitors may be able to sit outside and enjoy the panoramic views of the landscaped gardens.

In addition, there will be the opportunity to buy plants from the estate, talk to one of the Ragley gardeners and purchase raffle tickets.

Guided tours of the hall will also be available at a discounted rate of £5 each instead of £9.50.

All sales on the day including tours, plants and cakes will result in a donation towards  the charity

Alan Granger, chief executive at Ragley, said: “We are delighted to host our first coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and hope to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.”
