A CAMERA has been installed at Gunnings Bridge in Alcester to monitor the water level.
The CCTV camera will allow residents to observe the height of the river and will produce images four times per day and additionally if a high water level is detected.
The town was flooded in 2007 when the Arrow and the Alne broke their banks and sections of High Street flooded along with more than 200 homes.
Following the flooding, several improvements including pumps able drain away as much as 120 tonnes of water per minute, with underground tanks were installed.
This latest improvement was installed by the Environment Agency.
