FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze near Bidford after a barn containing 300 tonnes of straw set alight.
One fire engine from Bidford, another from Alcester as well as a water carrier from Leamington attended the scene on Famington Farm, in Georges Elm Lane, at 2.35am on Wednesday, July 22.
Livestock from an adjoining building were safety removed.
Firefighters were still on scene until 10pm making sure the site was safe and damping down the area.
A spokesperson from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “With the nature of the fire being straw, obviously, they do have to be very vigilant, ensuring they dampened down properly and make sure they have contained the fire and stopped it from spreading.”
