AN open air production of Shakespeare’s greatest romantic comedy Twelfth Night is set to take place in Coughton Court.
The National Trust property near Alcester is providing the backdrop to the performance on Friday, July 24 which will have full Elizabethan costume and an all-male cast The Lord Chamberlain's Men.
People are being invited to bring along a picnic and enjoy the tangled love story filled with love, laughter and longing and mischief, mayhem and mistaken identity.
Creative director and founder Mark Puddle said: “Twelfth Night is the play that our audiences have been begging us to return to.
“The play has always been one of Shakespeare’s funniest and I can’t think of anything more perfect for a summer’s evening than a classical retelling of this great comedy set against the background of some the nation’s most beautiful attractions.”

Gates open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. Adult tickets cost £15.75, children's tickets cost £8.40 and a family tickets are £40.
