THIS year’s annual Alcester Garden Walkabout raised more than £4,800 for Cancer Research UK.
Around 700 guests visited the 23 beautiful open gardens around the picturesque town of Alcester- about a hundred more than last year.
Organiser Sue Blackburn said: “It is a very relaxing and really nice thing to do- a peaceful afternoon.
“The advantage of having the gardens all together is that there's not much of a walk between each one.”
Over the years the event has raised more than £ 57,000 for the charity.
