ALCESTER Royal British Legion is set to hold their annual garden party and Armed Forces Day on Saturday, June 27.
This year, organisers have decided to combine the two events meaning the official flag will be moved to the 2pm with spectators meeting on St Nicholas Church Green at 1.30pm.
The garden party will be held in the Old Rectory opposite the Church from 2.45pm.
Members of the armed forces including veterans, cadets, and ex-servicemen and woman are especially welcome at the event.
Entrance costs £3 and this will include a drink and a cake. There will be a number of stalls, including tombola.
Anyone who has a donation for the tombola can contact David Malin at d.c.malin@btinternet.com.
