THE Ragley Estate has been announced as the venue for the 2016 CLA Game Fair.

The event, which is expected to attract around 150,000 visitors, will be taking place from Friday, 29 to Sunday 31 July.

This will be the third time that Ragley Hall has hosted the event in the CLA Game Fair's 58-year history.

Following on from experienced gained during the last two events, the show ground will be redesigned to create a more compact and orderly layout.

The aim will be to ensure visitors get the most from the experience by making all features and retail areas easily accessible.

The 9th Marquess of Hertford and the current owner of Ragley Hall, Lieutenant Colonel Lord Henry Seymour, said: “We are thrilled that the CLA Game Fair will be returning to Ragley Hall next year.

"This show will bring thousands of visitors to our corner of Warwickshire and provide a welcome boost to our local businesses.

"We look forward to once again being at the heart of this superb celebration of the great British countryside."

Helen Woolley, director general of the CLA, said: "It is with enormous pleasure that we will be returning to Ragley Hall for the 2016 CLA Game Fair and I would like to thank the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford for hosting us at their magnificent home and estate once again.

"The whole CLA team is looking forward to delivering a memorable CLA Game Fair in 2016 at this very popular, elegant and central location."
