ALVECHURCH residents can now welcome a new face to the town as Richard Bubbers will be appointed as the new priest-in-charge at St Laurence Church and as chaplain for Faith at Work in Worcestershire.
A celebratory service, conducted by the Bishop of Dudley, Rt Rev Graham Usher, will be held at the church on Thursday, February 12 at 7.30pm.
Churchwarden Graham Clark said: “The service will be a great start to Richard’s ministry with us and we hope that as many people as possible will be able to join us for this special occasion.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Richard to Alvechurch and hope that God will bless his time with us.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the gathering and light refreshments will be available after the service.
