A PRIMARY school near Alcester has been nominated as Educator of the Year in the Pride of Stratford Awards 2015.
Welford-on-Avon Primary School had their nursery class selected for the award scheme ran by radio station, 102 Touch FM.
Headteacher Mrs Julie Leeman said: “Welford-on-Avon Primary School are honoured to have their outstanding nursery class selected as finalists for Educator of the Year in Touch FM’s Pride of Stratford Awards.
“As we are celebrating 40 years of early years education we feel this is a very timely nomination.
“Our well established nursery, led by class teacher Mrs Sims, provides a highly stimulating start for any child’s educational journey and a life time love of learning, exploration and understanding of the world.”
