First talk of new year for Bidford and District History Society
BIDFORD and District History Society is holding its first talk of the new year on Friday, January 16.
The meeting will include a talk entitled the Shazam Show: A Nostalgic Look at the Old Picture Palaces, being given by Rob Hemming.
The talk will start at 7.30pm in Laurence Church Hall, Church Street, Bidford-on-Avon.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Free refreshments are always served after the talks.
The charge for non-members is £4.50 and admission is free for visitors aged 18 or under.
To become a member, annual subscription is £17.00 and starts in September.
