CHILDREN at Tudor Grange Primary Academy Haselor performed a mystery Christmas play written by their own principal.
Friends and family were invited to see the play which ran from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10.
The story features around the disappearance of Santa Claus and a detective is recruited to help find him. The investigation takes the audience around the world before finally ending the mystery in France.
Each year, Principal Gill Humphriss writes a brand new Christmas play, making sure each child has a part and plenty of lines to learn.
Speaking on this year’s production, she said: “It went down a storm, they loved it. Some of my parents have been with me a long time and they always say they look forward to seeing what I have come up with.
“Now they want to know what is happening next year.”
The school will be holding a traditional nativity play at Haselor Church on Wednesday, December 17.
