SANTA has announced the dates for his grand tour of Alcester, Bidford and Studley with the Round Table Christmas float.

The money raised on the nights will be presented to the nominated charities and good causes in January.

Richard Handy, Alcester and Stratford District Round Table chairman, said "Seeing thousands of children's faces light up seeing Santa on the routes is wonderful and anyone making a donation will be helping to make a difference to a charity or good cause in their community."

Car dealer Listers Honda Stratford have donated a car with a Christmas reindeer wrap to tow Santa's sleigh.

Mark Loxley, general manager of Listers Honda Stratford, said: "Lister Honda Stratford are proud to support Alcester and Stratford District Round Table's Santa float. It's nice to get involved with a local group and to put something back in to the community."

Father Christmas will begin his trip to Bidford-on-Avon in Victoria Road on Friday, December 12 at 6.15pm and Saturday, December 13 at 4.30pm.

He will visit Alcester on Tuesday, December 16 at 6.30pm, on December 17 to 19 he will visit from 6.15pm each night and on Saturday, December 20 and Sunday, December 21 he will tour the neighbourhood from 4.30pm.

Santa will be in Studley on Monday, December 22, where he will visit St Judes Avenue, Augustine Avenue, Corbizum Avenue, St Asaphs Avenue, St Martins Avenue, St Agnes Close, St Chads Road, Highfield Road, Lansdown Road and Stapleton Road.
