A 50-year-old police officer from Alcester has appeared in court charged with two common assaults and drink driving.
Stephen Patrick Saunders of Roman Way pleaded not guilty to the charges at Leamington Magistrates Court on Wednesday October 8.
The West Mercia Police officer was arrested and charged on Tuesday, September 23 following an incident which occurred in Bromsgrove on the day before.
Mr Saunders has been released on conditional court bail from Leamington Magistrates to reappear on Thursday, January 29.
He has been suspended from his duties as a Safer Neighbourhood Team officer based in Bromsgrove.
