CHILDREN at Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School in Alcester have been taking part in a mass singing and recording project with a number of other schools in their Federation group.

The pupils teamed up with others from St Mary’s in Henley, St. Mary’s in Broadway, and St. Gregory’s in Stratford to learn and perform a number of special songs with actions which supported the school’s ethos.

The project was organised through iSingPOP, which works alongside World Vision, an international aid charity, and the children will be performing the songs in two concerts taking place at St Benedict’s Catholic High School, before recording them for a school CD, which is going to be on sale in the school.

Our Lady’s headteacher,Teresa Unitt, said: “This is a great opportunity for our children to enjoy themselves and have lots of fun but at the same time show their care and concern for the wider world.”
