RESIDENTS at a Bidford care home were getting in the pink recently in a bid to raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
Staff and residents at Waterloo House Residential Care Home in Bidford took part in the Wear It Pink day, transforming themselves into pink superheroes with pink wigs, feather boas, masks and capes.
Residents also enjoyed pink cakes, biscuits and drinks throughout the day.
Activities coordinator Jen Clay said: “Everyone has been really looking forward to getting dressed up and we’ve decorated the home with a pink theme too.
“We raise money for charity here on a regular basis and this one is particularly close to our hearts, as several of our ladies have breast cancer.
“We’re hoping to have lots of fun and to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.”
