PEOPLE are reminded that an Anthony Nolan bone marrow recruitment event is taking place now.
The family of 14-month-old baby Ronnie Manders, are urging people to attend as they could help save Ronnie's, and thousands of others, lives.
Ronnie was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of leaukaemia in July. His desperate family have been told by doctors that a bone marrow transplant is his only hope of survival.
The recruitment event started at 3pm and runs until 7pm this evening at the Rocklands Social Club. Anyone aged 16-30 is eligible.
