TOOLS and fishing equipment have been stolen from a garage in Redditch.
It happened between 4pm on Thursday, October 11 and 10.15am on Friday, October 12, in Evesham Road, near The Harry Taylor First School.
Thieves broke into the garage and stole a Bosch sander worth about £35, a jigsaw worth £25, a drill worth £60, a Sanyo 32 inch flat screen TV worth £350, a Nintendo Wii console worth £100, two Chub fishing rods worth £45 each, a Johnson pike fishing rod worth £30 and a number of other fishing accessories worth about £35.
PC Zowey Marshall said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in that area of Evesham Road on Thursday evening or Friday morning, particularly any vehicles parked in unusual circumstances.
"The thieves may try to sell on the items and therefore we would like to hear from anyone who has been offered items for sale similar to those stolen and is unsure of their origin."
Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact PC Marshall on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 163-S-121012, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
