Crowds flock to Feckenham Scarecrow Weekend

THOUSANDS of people flocked to Feckenham at the weekend as the annual scarecrow festival took place.
Winners in the hotly fought scarecrow competition were Shaun the Sheep and Farmer Crow by Lew Howe-Bennett in first place, second was Crow Bar by the Masters family and third was Campcrow by Steve and Jenny Dalloway.
Winners were chosen by the public - each visitor was invited to vote for their favourite out of the 53 entries.
A spokesman said: “Attendance is estimated to be between 3,000-4,000 people which was up on previous years. We were aided by good weather and the fact that this is a great family day out for minimal cost.”
