Carers to be recognised for hard work
7:40am Sunday 14th October 2012 in News
PEOPLE are being urged to help give county carers the recognition they deserve.
Redditch-based mobility manufacturer, Karma Mobility, is running a competition to highlight an unsung hero that looks after a husband, wife, child or sibling.
To enter the Karma Carer of 2012 awards, people need to send the name of the carer and why they think they deserve to be crowned the winner to karma@cas-marketing.com. People can also call 01491 578888 to make an entry.
The winner, who will be awarded a Fortnum & Mason Hamper worth £200, will be announced on December 1.
Mark Duffield, general manager at Karma Mobility, said: “Carers play such a vital role in our community and it is so important they are given the praise and recognition they deserve. We want to help make sure those individuals who are committed to delivering care are rewarded for their hard work and dedication.”
