One-year-old Willow from Redditch is star of national TV advert

FOLLOWING a nationwide search, one-year-old Willow Green from Redditch made her TV debut after being chosen to appear in Cow & Gate’s new TV advertisement, which aired yesterday.

In August, Cow & Gate, the iconic baby feeding brand, famous for its laughing baby adverts, asked parents across the nation to audition their little ones to potentially be the faces, and personalities, of its brand new advertising campaign.

Willow was shortlisted and invited to attend a live casting with Cow & Gate’s production team, after her mother, Amy Rush, submitted a video showing off her personality.

Willow wowed the team with her infectious laugh and beaming smile, leading to her being picked to appear in the final advertisement and become one of the new faces of the Cow & Gate campaign.

Mum Amy said: “We were absolutely thrilled that she was been chosen to appear in the new advertisement, it has made the family’s year

“When we saw the search on Facebook we decided to enter Willow because we have always found her fascinating to watch and thought other people would too. She has always been a very confident and inquisitive baby which is why we felt she would be so great for the campaign. “

Jeffrey Rothman, Cow & Gate marketing controller, added: “Our new campaign celebrates all the different and lovable personalities of the UK’s little ones. In order to showcase these, we recruited real Cow & Gate children for our advert through our Facebook page and Willow was a perfect fit.

“We had a tough job deciding who should appear in the final ad because there were lots of amazing entries for this opportunity.”
