REDDITCH Railway Interest Group’s next meeting will be on Friday, October 12 at 2pm in Forge Mill Museum’s education centre.
A digital presentation by David Morgan, the group’s chairman, will offer a glimpse at railways in the days before Dr Beeching, who is remembered for his ruthless policy of railway line closures.
It was an era when steam power still made a significant contribution to the railway system.
