Man threatened to jump from bridge in Redditch

A FIRE crew from Redditch were called to assist police after a man threatened to throw himself from a bridge.
It happened this afternoon on a bridge over the Bromsgrove Highway but no more details are available.
Firefighters also had to deal with an unusual situation this afternoon. A 13-year-old boy came to the station, with a pair of handcuffs on. He had found them and tried them on but was unable to get them off. Firefighters were able to remove them, much to the relief of the teenager.
