BECKETTS Farm in Wythall will be hosting its first Autumn Food Fayre this Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14, inviting customers to try an even wider range of delicious local food and drink from Birmingham, Worcestershire and Shropshire producers.
Beckett’s Farm Shop is fully stocked with fresh, British produce all year round and supports local producers by sourcing local produce for its farm shop and restaurant.
The event will give visitors the opportunity to meet local producers, talk about the products they offer and the processes involved in making them, as well as discuss the benefits of eating local food.
There will be live cookware demonstrations and tasting sessions, offering those who are passionate about ‘real’ food, the chance to try a whole range of treats.
Becketts’ managing director, Simon Beckett, said: “Beckett’s Farm is a hub for local and British produce and we are proud to enable our customers to shop closer to home, reducing their food miles and helping them support farming and their local economy.
“We hope visitors will enjoy this opportunity to find out more about local, high quality food.”
Becketts Farm is situated on the Alcester Road in Wythall, one mile from junction 3 of the M42 and is open seven days a week. For more details, see beckettsfarm.co.uk or call 01564 823402.
