THERE were some new kids on the block following the recent summer break at one Redditch school.
Youngsters returning to Ridgeway Middle School found that the school was no longer home to just pigs - but now goats.
The move is part of an initiative to engage and challenge pupils as well as give qualifications for life.
Youngsters at the school, with help from staff, now have the job of looking after and caring for the goats.
The aim is to teach them about science and animal husbandry.
