RESIDENTS are being invited to spend a fairy-tale Christmas at the Palace Theatre.
The theatre has announced that disco diva Maureen Nolan will star as the Evil Carabosse in this year’s magical Christmas pantomime Sleeping Beauty.
Maureen has been singing with her sisters since she was nine-years-old and together they became one of Europe’s first girl band, The Nolans.
The group is still taking the UK by storm 30 years on from their biggest hit, “I’m in the Mood for Dancing”.
Maureen will be joined on stage by stars from stage and screen including Brookside’s Steven Pinder and West End stars Paul Tate, Eddie Dredge and Zoe Nicloe Adkin who will play Sleeping Beauty.
The panto runs from December 3 to 30.
