Oliver - Redditch youth adapted production

A SEARCH for young actors will be taking part in Redditch this Winter in a bid to find talented young people to star in a staged musical adaptation of Oliver.

The story follows a poor young orphan’s adventures in London as he tries to escape a lifetime of poverty.

All roles including those of Fagin, Bill Sykes, Nancy and the Artful Dodger will be played by young people.

The show will be directed by professional actors and directors and staged next spring with training offered to all suitable candidates.

Informal trials will take place on Saturday, October 13 2 - 3.30pm at Oakenshaw Community Centre.

Directors will be looking for youngsters aged between seven and 17 years.

Complete beginners and more advanced performers are welcome.
