THE ‘Music Man’ Tony Breedan made many from the With It Group (WIG) in Matchborough merry with renditions of old favourite tunes recently.

County councillor Juliet Brunner who has supported WIG from her divisional funds was invited to the sing-along to show how the money is making a difference to residents.

Coun Brunner said: “I'm really delighted that through the support of divisional funds groups like WIG can continue to operate.

“I'm not sure my singing was in tune so I wont be counting on join their choir anytime soon.”

Alan Walker, chairman of WIG, said: “We are really grateful for Councillor Brunner's support, without it we wouldn't have been able to continue which would have been a terrible shame.”

WIG, which meets on Fridays, is always looking for new members. For more information, call Mr Walker on 01527 841025.
