Book your tickets for evening of West End magic in Cookhill

PEOPLE still have time to book tickets to see a singing sensation as West End Cabaret - Songs from the Musicals, returns to Cookhill Village Hall.

Sarah Lark, a finalist in the BBC’s “I’d Do Anything” talent show and now staring in Les Miserables in the West End, will be performing in Cookhill on Sunday, October 7.

Welsh-born Miss Lark rose to fame when she stared in the BBC talent show which searched for a singer to play the role of Nancy in a West End version of Oliver!

Although she did not get the role, she played understudy to competition winner Jody Prenger in the West End and has gone on to secure many high profile roles since.

Joining her will be Marc Joseph who secured a place on the musical theatre course at the Arts Education School, after being selected as the first winner of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship.

Since this auspicious start, Mr Joseph has worked all over the UK and in Europe in musicals, concerts, cabaret, on TV and on radio.

They will be accompanied by talented musical director and pianist Chris Hatt, currently the musical director of Billy Elliot at the Palace Theatre in London.

The bar at Cookhill Village Hall will be open from 5pm and a supper will be served at 6pm prompt. The event will also include a raffle.

Tickets for the show cost £22, including the supper, and are available from Eileen Payne on 01527 892225, or by e-mailing dandepayne@uwclub.net .
