A SUCCESSFUL art exhibition held at Studley Parish Centre raised a record £300 for charity.
Members of the Studley Arts Circle put on the show, which resulted in 47 picture and embroidery sales.
Secretary of the 20-strong group, Carol Ellis, said: "We raised £200 last year for charity and we are delighted to report such a big increase this year.
"It was a beautifully sunny day and our members were pleased with all the favourable comments made by so many visitors."
Money from the show on Saturday, October 21 was raised for Acorns Children's Hospice by selling refreshments, charging an entry fee, the proceeds of a raffle and a percentage of the art sales.
