Operatic society’s production a real family affair

REDDITCH Operatic Society’s forthcoming feel-good production of Summer Holiday is already a hit with one family.
Taking three of the principal roles are talented siblings Alan, Michael and Helen Hastings.
Alan, 25, Michael, 21, and Helen, 18, have all previously appeared in other shows, but this will be the first time the talented trio perform together on stage.
The show features a string of 60s hits including The Young Ones, Living Doll, In The Country and title song Summer Holiday to name but a few.
A spokesman for the operatic society said: “With the emphasis firmly on uplifting music, lively dance numbers and a fun storyline this show will be a winner with young and old, whether you’re a Cliff fan or not.
“It’s a true family favourite.”
The show is being performed at the Palace Theatre from November 13 to 17.
