OUR October meeting had the intriguing title of The Theatre Awaits.
Frances Hayles was the demonstrator and her arrangements depicted favourite shows Phantom of the Opera, with the mask, My Fair Lady, in black and white, an arrangement for the ballet in pink, plus tiny shoes (worn by her granddaughter at the wedding of an aunt) and a medley of colour for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Frances was thanked by Wendy Hart.
Three members entered the Flower of the Month competition and were each awarded one point as the entries were all so beautiful. Entrants were Jean Smithers, Barbara Wall and Jane Hall.
Sheila Hand will be the demonstrator on November 14 and her title is And So It's Christmas.
