BRIGHT Kids at Studley celebrated the closure of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics with a sports themed fun day to kick start their partnership with Studley Leisure Centre.

The children had the opportunity to get physical during a fun music and movement session with the nursery’s resident music man Steve Swannell and a taster session of fencing with Sue Salisbury.

There were lots of other sport themed activities on offer from football, obstacle course and running races to name but a few.

Katie Buckley, deputy manager, said: “The event was a wonderful way for children to try some new sports that some may never have had the opportunity to try before and take advantage of our large spacious outdoor facilities.”

Bright Kids plans to hold another session soon with children enjoying other sporting sessions, in conjunction with Studley Leisure Centre.

Bright Kids provides a range of services including baby care, toddler care, pre-school education and breakfast, after school and holiday clubs. Call 01527 852165 for more details or call in for an informal look around.
