Austin Maxi Owners' Club to hold Maximeet at Forge Mill this weekend

THE Austin Maxi Owners' Club will be holding its annual "Maximeet" for the first time at the Redditch's Forge Mill Needle Museum this Sunday, September 16.
This will be an excellent opportunity to chat to the owners and have a look around these versatile cars that were designed by Sir Alec Issigonis, the man who designed the legendary Austin Mini.
Maximeet is an informal meeting of all marks of Britain's first hatchback and members are looking forward to enjoying a look around the needle museum, Bordesley Abbey and relaxing in the picnic area and is perfect for the whole family to enjoy.
The Maxis, Bordesley Abbey and the picnic area are free, but visitors will need to pay a small fee for entrance to the needle museum.
