YOUNGSTERS ar Little Bo Peep Nursery in Inkberrow had a very special visitor recently.

The children were joined by Marie Curie’s mascot Daffy the Daffodil who is aiming to encourage more local schools, groups and nurseries to register for the Mini Pots of Care campaign this year and get the chance to grow their very own Daffy.

Mini Pots of Care planting activity is an interactive and creative fundraising activity, which helps children aged three-11 learn about science, nature and charitable giving while, raising money to fund our Marie Curie Nurses.

Over 21,621 schools, nurseries and registered youth organisations have already taken part in Mini Pots of Care helping to raise over £3.5 million for Marie Curie’s vital work over the years.
