STUDLEY Village Hall Library has received a financial boost from TalkTalk, the home phone, broadband and mobile provider.

The donation provided by TalkTalk will be used to help set up a community library in the Village Hall.

Alongside the support of the village hall, TalkTalk is investing £50,000 in technology to bring best value broadband offers to Studley and surrounding areas.

TalkTalk is expanding its Next Generation Network at the local telephone exchange which will give customers access to fast, reliable broadband services for all of the family’s needs. Studley Village Hall was officially opened in June 2003. Studley Parish Council together with Studley Village Hall Management Committee have put together a business case for the library to be relocated to the village hall to be run by volunteers after it was proposed by Warwickshire County Council that it should be closed. The library will be relocated this month. Paul Beaman, village hall chairman said: “The donation from TalkTalk is fantastic and we are very grateful for their help and support.”

Tristia Clarke, commercial director at TalkTalk said: “Investing in the local area allows us to bring our great value offers to even more families in the area and we are proud to be supporting Studley Village Hall Community Library. They are in the heart of the community and we are delighted our donation will go towards new equipment.” TalkTalk’s new network will cover Studley, Ipsley, Matchborough and Mapleborough Green.
