AN African Caribbean group serving Redditch and the surrounding area is after new members.
Caribbean Roots Connection (CRC) is trying to develop the range of services it currently offers as well as build relationships with other community groups, the police and council.
It was established in 2007 with the aim to represent and address the social, cultural, economic and educational needs of the community, primarily relating to people of African and Caribbean descent.
Andrew Hall, chairman of CRC, said: “Following a recent restructure we are looking for volunteers who have a passion for working in the community, and can enthuse and inspire people.
“We are keen to develop a diverse committee and we welcome applicants from all cultural backgrounds.”
CRC founder Veronica Allen added: “I would encourage people to join this vibrant and thriving group, which has served the community of Redditch in a variety of different ways.”
