A CHRISTMAS tree donated by a Major Green business has been proudly put up at Number 11 Downing Street, the official residence of the Chancellor.
The tree, donated by Wood Farm Christmas Trees, in Haslucks Green Road, was delivered to the Chancellor George Osborne last Thursday, (December 8).
Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid, with eight children from Wythall schools, Meadow Green Primary School and Woodrush High School, helped deliver the tree, and took the opportunity to take a tour of number 10 and 11 Downing Street.
Mr Javid said: “I’m delighted a local business from my constituency is donating a Christmas tree to the Chancellor this year.
“It was a very special occasion, and one that we will all remember for a long time to come.”
