BRAVE residents are being invited to take part in a ghost hunt in Studley.

A group of paranormal detectives are holding a special event at the Washford Mill pub on Icknield Street Drive, which is reported to date back to the Doomsday Book.

Dave Green and Jane Light are running the spiritual event with any money raised going to the Primrose Hospice which provides advice and support to cancer patients and their families.

Jane said that the pub is known for being a paranormal hotspot and is excited about the evening.

“We are expecting a very active night,” she said.

“Those with open minds are very welcome and will be very surprised at the differences within the various parts of the pub. It’s like crossing through different times and eras.”

The ghost hunt is on Saturday, May 15 and will start after closing time at 11pm.

Tickets are priced at £20 per person and anyone wishing to take part can call 523068.
