REDDITCH MP Jacqui Smith has nothing left to repay following an investigation into MPs' expenses by Sir Thomas Legg.
Sir Thomas Legg’s review of additional cost allowance (ACA) payments showed that Ms Smith was paid cleaning costs totalling £9,309.87 over the four year period from 2004-05 to 2007-08. This exceeded the allowable maximum by a total of £1,309.87.
She was also paid £160 for garden furniture in 2004, which is not allowed under the Green Book rules. The Green Book is a guide to members’ allowances and what is acceptable to claim for.
The total repayment recommended for Ms Smith was £1,469.87 but that amount has been paid back by her since April 1 2009 leaving no outstanding balance.

.
Now she just has the huge debt and guilt for the £115,000 she stole from society, by giving false information to her advisers on where she lives for the "most" of the time - as was clearly proven - Redditch! Legg said Smith was guilty of a "serious breach of the rules".
