A 26-year-old man has been charged with raping a woman in Redditch town centre.

The man, who is from Redditch and was arrested on Thursday, was charged yesterday in connection with an incident near the Three Cooks Bakery at the top of Market Street in the early hours of Sunday, November 1.

He has been released on conditional bail to appear at Redditch Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 8.
